I have learned that when it comes to designing a sound research study it is important to understand the strengths of all of the different types of research. Each of them serve different areas of research better than another but I enjoyed learning more about them and then picking what seemed like the best type of research would be for me and my proposal. I have also learned a lot more about the role that a literature review plays in a research proposal. Another thing that I have learned that helps provide a sound research study is simplicity in structure of your proposal and how usability tests can play a part in your research as well.
These processes have taught be that it is important to always build upon an outline and remain specific, it keeps the proposal organized and clear for the reader.
I've enjoyed the things I have learned in this class and Dr. B has always pushed me to try outside of my comfort zone in being a disciplined writer. Good luck and great job to everyone in finishing our research proposals!
Hi Taela,
ReplyDeleteI really like what you've said here. I know for me the hardest part was planning out and time managing my paper, so I really like what you said about carefully outlining and staying specific. Good job!
